I bought this item so that I could get the same treatment at home that I get at my chiropractor’s office to treat shoulder rotator cuff tendonitis. The instructions are a bit difficult to read through and understand for a non-clinical person. I figured it out mostly by trial and error. After a couple weeks of once-a-day use, my shoulder is feeling much better. Surprisingly, the original battery lasts quite a long time. Initially I used the TENS mode to treat the pain and inflammation and then switched to EMS to start strengthening the muscles. This is a great little unit for the price. The instructions are the reason that I don’t give it all five stars.

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Had pain for so long like you wouldn’t believe (or you would, if you ever had chronic pain with no instant medical cures).
I did the following:
1. Read the book The Mindbody Prescription: Healing the Body, Healing the Pain – more than a few times.
2. Used the Experian Health every day for 20-30 minutes (a few inches above the painful part, towards the spine).
3. Did moderate stretching, limited to the point of feeling the pain. It started really slow, but after a couple of weeks I could go to 70% of full motion.
4. Drank TONS of mineral water bottles (2.5 a day).
5. Kept my heart in shape – moderately paced jogging or Elliptical training (without using the muscles in pain).
6. Kept away from any doctor that recommended Cortisone injections or “you have to learn to live with the pain”.
If you wonder – yes, I’m almost in 90% recovery, and I’ve learned so much about my body and how to adjust my lifestyle choices to prevent such injuries (I hope!) in the future.
