I’ve been feeling a pain on the left side of my lower back for a few hours now…I know most pregnant women get it during their third trimester, bc of all the weight they’re carrying around, but is it normal to have this now?

Yes back pain is normal in early pregnancy. Sometimes its a sign that tip woman off about being pregnant. I had it also and still get it once in awhile.

As soon as you become pregnant your body starts changing, especially your hormone levels. These hormones make your ligaments soft and stretchy including the ligaments in your back. Unfortunately this also makes them painful.

I felt the same way during the first trimester…apparently, it’s the uterus stretching to accommodate the baby once it starts to grow. Congrats!
